Ash Bland is an artist from New York that is currently living and practicing in London. They received their BFA from Pratt Institute, and is currently continuing their MFA at the Slade. Ash’s practice dwells on how environment impacts the body & consciousness, and how human bodies and our society seep into environments (both natural and unnatural), and the human and non-human bodies within them. Cyborg cockroaches, infertile mosquitoes, duck decoys, bioweapons, and disease are some points of interest in this realm.
